The story

Revision that proves more than a run of correct answers.

Plenty of apps count how many questions you've answered. Passing practice questions doesn't always mean you're ready — a question you get right today may be one you've forgotten next week, and a lucky guess looks exactly like knowledge.

Driving Theory Test Kit takes a different approach. It builds evidence of genuine readiness: what you've actually covered, what you keep getting wrong, what you've remembered over time, and how you perform under mock test conditions — including the hazard perception part of the test.

The result is Test Readiness: an honest picture of where you stand for both parts of the test, and a daily plan that tells you the most useful thing to study next. When there isn't enough evidence, the app says so rather than guessing.

What's in the app

Key features, in plain terms.

The official theory test has two parts — multiple-choice questions and hazard perception. Driving Theory Test Kit prepares you for both.

  • Theory practice across all 14 official theory test topics
  • Smart Practice that adapts to mistakes, weak areas and material due for review
  • Mock theory tests modelled on the real test: 50 questions, 57 minutes, 43–50 to pass
  • Hazard perception learning and practice: 14 clips, 15 hazards, 75 points, 44 to pass
  • 46 theory lessons across 14 topics
  • Highway Code material and road signs learning
  • Test Readiness — an honest picture of preparation for both parts of the test
  • Today's Plan — short daily study goals of 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes
  • Progress tracking focused on evidence, not points or streaks
  • One-off price of £3.99 — no subscription and no adverts

Important when writing about the app: Test Readiness, mock results and practice scores are study aids. They do not guarantee that anyone will pass the official theory test.

One-sentence description

Driving Theory Test Kit is a UK theory test preparation app built around one question: am I ready?

Short description

Driving Theory Test Kit helps UK learner drivers prepare for the car theory test by building evidence of genuine readiness — what you know, what needs work and what you've remembered. It covers theory practice, mock tests, hazard perception, lessons, the Highway Code and road signs, with a daily plan that tells you what to study next. £3.99 once. No subscription, no adverts.

Long description

Most revision apps count questions answered. But getting a question right today doesn't prove you'll remember it on test day — and a lucky guess looks exactly like knowledge. Driving Theory Test Kit was built around a different question: not "how much have I done?" but "am I actually ready?"

The app tracks what you've genuinely covered, the mistakes you keep making, the material you've remembered over time, and how you perform under mock test conditions — across both the multiple-choice questions and hazard perception. It brings that evidence together in Test Readiness, an honest picture of where you stand for each part of the test. When there isn't enough evidence yet, it says so.

Each day, Today's Plan sets a short, realistic study goal and points you at the most useful thing to work on next. Practice is organised around nine modes, from quick-fire drills to focused topic practice, and 46 lessons explain the thinking behind the rules rather than just testing recall.

Driving Theory Test Kit is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). Test Readiness is a study aid, not a guarantee of passing. The app will be available soon for £3.99 as a one-off purchase — no subscription and no adverts.
