How much does Theory Test Kit cost?
£3.99 as a one-off purchase.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay once and that's it.
Are there adverts?
No. There's no advertising anywhere in the app.
Does the app guarantee I'll pass?
No. Practice and readiness evidence help you prepare properly, but no app can guarantee a test result. Your test performance on the day is your own.
What is Test Readiness?
It's a picture of how prepared you are, built from your genuine study evidence — question mastery, mock performance, topic coverage, consistency, retention, mistakes and how well you've recovered in areas you once found hard. Theory Readiness and Hazard Readiness are measured separately, and the overall figure gives significant weight to your weaker area.
Why might the app say it doesn't have enough evidence?
Because being busy isn't the same as being ready. If you haven't covered enough of the syllabus, studied across enough separate days or taken enough mock and hazard practice, the app tells you rather than producing a flattering score.
Does it include hazard perception?
Yes. There's a learning hub with nine lessons, a practice library, Quick 3 sessions, a full mock structured around 14 clips and 15 developing hazards, feedback, scoring-window education and progress by driving environment. Hazard clips need an internet connection.
Can I study offline?
Practice, feedback, lessons, the Highway Code, road signs, flashcards and quizzes work offline. Mock tests and hazard perception clips need an internet connection.
Can I add my test date?
Yes. Add your theory test date and the app uses it as context for study priorities and optional reminders. Study reminders are off by default.
Does it include mock theory tests?
Yes — 50 questions in 57 minutes with a 43/50 pass mark, plus flagging, save and exit, resume, results and answer review.
Can I practise individual topics?
Yes. Topic Practice lets you work through individual theory test topics.
Can I review questions I got wrong?
Yes. The Mistakes mode brings back questions you previously answered incorrectly, and Today's Plan surfaces them when they're worth revisiting.
Does it include the Highway Code?
There's a searchable Highway Code learning and reference area inside the app, so you can look something up as soon as a question raises it.
Does it cover road signs?
Yes, including road sign learning, flashcards and quizzes.
