How it works

Nine steps, in the order you'd actually take them.

Nothing complicated. The app keeps track of the evidence so you can spend your time learning.

  1. Tell us about your test

Add your theory test date if you've booked one. The app uses it as context for what to prioritise.

  2. Find your starting point

Take an optional ten-question assessment covering different topics, so the app isn't guessing where you are.

  3. Start practising

Work through questions and start building evidence across the syllabus.

  4. Strengthen weak areas

Mistakes and weaker knowledge are surfaced for revision rather than left behind.

  5. Build mastery

Learning is considered over time, not just on the day you first answered correctly.

  6. Take mock tests

50 questions, 57 minutes, 43/50 to pass — so the format stops being a surprise.

  7. Practise hazard perception

Lessons, clips and feedback build separate hazard perception evidence.

  8. Follow Today's Plan

Open the app and know what's most useful to work on next.

  9. Watch your readiness develop

Theory and hazard evidence combine into a clearer picture of whether you're ready.

Today's Plan in the Driving Theory Test Kit app

Today's Plan is where the whole journey shows up each day.

A note on honesty

Readiness has to be earned.

The app won't tell you you're highly ready because you've been busy. If the evidence isn't there yet, it says so — and readiness never guarantees a pass.
